I grew up in a small town in Arkansas and had big dreams early on. I earned my bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas (go Razorbacks!) and eventually completed my master’s in accounting from the University of Notre Dame (go Fighting Irish!). I went on to work in corporate America, but deep down, I knew I wanted to do something more aligned with service and impact so I launched my own CPA firm.
What I quickly discovered was this: a lot of talented, hard-working entrepreneurs weren’t struggling because they lacked passion or good ideas they were struggling because no one ever taught them how to build a business.
They didn’t have the roadmap.
And so they were figuring it out the hard way, just like I once did.
That realization was the spark behind Jump Smart — a business academy built on the belief that with the right framework and support, people can skip the confusion and build with clarity from day one.
